out with the old...and in with the new!
Buh-bye May!!
Happenings in May:
-My parents came to visit which is always nice
-Kylee graduated CSU
-Dusty moved to Charleston
-Made my first purchase EVER so large that VISA called of suspicious activity! oops.
-Matt got a job
-Oh and he became a Doctor too!!
Exciting things in June:
-Daughtry,8th row, backstage passes....in 4 days. OMG. I can't contain my excitement
-I take my first photography class
-Father's Day and my parents 34th wedding anniversary <--love this
-Weekend at Edisto celebrating the future Mrs. Roberts (Kylee)
-Weekend with the Marylanders celebrating the future Mrs. DiBasillo (Katie)
-My "large" purchase arrives at Matt's on June 10th, conveniently one day before the World Cup starts
-After ^^ that happens I lose my boyfriend to a TV
-Matt takes boards!

Dr. Ferguson!
3 years ago Matt graduated from Bridgewater College!
This week he is graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina with his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. I honestly never thought we'd get here..at times it seemed like the longest journey ever!
Matt and I have this running joke that we like to out do each other academically. I graduated 2nd in my high school class, then Matt graduated cum laude at Bridgewater, then I graduated summa cum laude from Bridgewater, so it was time for Matt to out do me. Well he did it, and now I will never be able to top him! He is going to be recognized as the top honor graduate of his PT class!! He is such a smarty pants! Who pulls a 3.97 in a doctorate program!?! Matthew, I'm proud of you and I can officially say...you win!!

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there, especially mine.
Remember when you were a teenager and you thought the world was against you and your parents were out to get you?
You swore that you would let your kids do w:h:a:t:e:v:e:r they want...
Then reality sets in, and you realize you are exactly like your mom!
These are the things I have inherited from my amazing mother...
-When I get really mad, my eyes get really big (so do hers)
-My fun sense of humor
-My ability to give great gifts and wrap presents
-My mom has wrapping paper for every occasion...so do I.
-I cry over movies and books that no one else would even find sad or emotional
-I save money, but I spend it much better. Thanks Mom!
-My belief that TJMaxx and Marshalls require weekly visits because you never know what you might find.
-My long, skinny feet, with extra long phalanges.
-My baking skills. We can make some mean desserts.
This is only a short list, because I look in the mirror and see my mom in everything about me. She is the greatest woman on Earth. Every time she made me do something and said "some day you'll understand", I never understood then. I understand why she did everything that she did, and I know I'll say the exact same things to my daughter.

P90X: Week 1 Wrap Up
I am officially on week 2, but thought I would give everyone the Week 1 summary:
-I found glute muscles. It took me approximately 100 lunges, but I found some in there.
-Even though I can do a total of 1 pull up, I need a pull up bar!
-I WILL have a six pack by the end of this workout. I actually have all six, but only 4 are visible.
-My tae bo class is harder the Kenpo X
-I still despise push ups
-Yoga is my least favorite workout because I'm not flexible
-Dreya Roll is my least favorite move followed closely by Chaturanga Run
I'll show you why:
That is the Dreya Roll. Ultimately you are not supposed to use your hands to push yourself up. That's where my problem comes in.

Oh, this is Dreya. She is one of the people on the workouts. You think they could have picked more average people to help boost some self esteem. Nope, instead, the choose the she-hulk.
Overall, not complaining about the workouts. I'm still running and doing other cardio intermittently.
